Today members of the RCPD and our law enforcement partners helped celebrate the 103rd birthday of Lenny Gross. Mr. Gross served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the 96th Infantry Division, 383rd Regiment. Happy Birthday and thank you for your service, sir!

This week the RCPD motor unit participated in providing escorts for the those arriving in the nation’s capital for National Police Week. Of those escorts, some were for the families of fallen law enforcement officers from around the country. We continue to honor their sacrifice.

RCPD officers enjoyed touring and meeting our friends at the Sunflower Bakery this morning. The Sunflower Bakery prepares young adults with learning differences for employment in pastry, baking and other food industries. The new chefs needed taste testers. We were happy to help!
